A balanced schedule is a complete myth. As a triathlete, you have many things going on (work, family, training). Instead of seeking a perfect balance you need to integrate each aspect.
5 reasons why it’s important to integrate your triathlon training into your life schedule:

But it’s not the only area of you life.
Integrate recognizes that there is overlaps in both time and energy.
By integrating everything you can learn how to use the energy gained from training across your other areas of life.
If you try to separate each aspect of your life, you neglect the impact 1 area can have on the others.
Some examples:
It’s easier to look at you whole weekly schedule than try to separate each aspect out.
Integration has the blend of all aspects.
In my phase of life:
I recognize that everyone will have different emphasis (do what works for you!)
When training is integrated into your life, it’s easier to maintain.
The habits that you build from a training perspective will trickle into the other areas.
Integrating it all recognize the impact fitness can have on your mood, stress and energy level.
You will likely be more productive in the long-run.
When you look at everything you want to do in life you can start to look at the cross-over in strength, cardio and ability to move.
How can your training impact:
When you integrate your training you can start to check all the boxes of health.
Integrating your life and training is a skill but when you do it well, endurance can become a lifestyle.
Here’s how:
First, you need to get clear on what is truly important to you.
Why are you training for endurance?
Recognize that training is a small portion of your overall life.
You have family, friends, career, and more on your plate. You want to use training as an amplifier of your other areas of life. Get stronger, healthier and build create habits that will last a lifetime.
Figure out what is sustainable for you. Know your weekly mins and maxs and do everything you can to stay within there. This might mean training a little less than others because of what’s happening in your life.
Learn to use a digital calendar or some other scheduling software.
You need a plan to fit it all in. Block your training times like any other meeting or event. Make each thing on your calendar the most important event in this movement.
Build presence and actively choose where you place your attention. If with family, be with family. If training, train.
Emphasize the sessions that bring you joy. There are likely sessions that you enjoy more than others.
Do more of them.
Train in groups or with friends and build your endurance community. Spend time and train with them.
Remember it’s all a process.
Play the long game.
Realize that your gains this season will impact next season and so on. You don’t need to look for perfection.
